The topic of the Winter School is “Sustainability and Innovation of Money and Banking – a Nordic Perspective”.  This course looks at various attempts to “re-imagine money and banking.” It explores opportunities for addressing big societal challenges and asks in particular how new forms of money and banking can contribute to developing more equal, resilient and sustainable societies.

This Winter School is an effort to offer your students who do not have the chance or possibility to go on a full semester exchange to still get an international experience, and to add an exciting Nordic perspective to their business studies. The course is worth 8 ECTS credits in total and is held full time during 2 weeks in January.

The first time we offer this course will be this coming Spring semester 2022, from 17-28 January. It will be held online this time due to the current insecurities caused by the pandemic, but our goal is that starting from January 2023, the Winter School will be offered on campus - one week in Lund, and one week in Helsinki. When held on campus, a more extensive social and extra curricular programme will be offered to all students, and we will also provide information about how to combine the course with a trip to see the Northern Lights in Lapland either before or after.

Attached you find a flyer with the most important information. Please let us know if you would like us to send you printed copies of the flyer for promotional purposes, and we will be happy to do that.
