Our programme is entitled ‘Politics, Media & Culture’, and is unlike any other: students improve their language and also broaden their academic and cultural horizons, living in a historic and beautiful Oxford University college, having daily lectures and small-group seminars with world-class academics, and being supported by student helpers who are themselves students at Oxford University.  It is no exaggeration to say that many students feel that their lives have been changed: they encounter people from all over the world, get to freely express their opinions and interact closely with experts, and they have a fantastic social experience, too. We welcome students from all academic disciplines; they do not have to be currently studying politics.

Our course lavishes students with attention: we offer small group supervision, and every student receives a one-to-one writing tutorial – students become friends with academics and Oxford students.  After class, students experience opulent Oxford banquets in the Great Hall of Magdalen College, traditional cream teas and garden walks, and get to visit wonderful places such as Blenheim Palace, Stratford (Shakespeare’s birthplace), and London’s historic sights.  There are many language courses in England, but in no course does each student feel so part of a group and so carefully looked after.  Every year we pride ourselves on creating lasting memories.  We also believe that our course unites different countries and cultures, and fosters international understanding.
