I
share with you this interesting opportunity open to the students of your
university, primarily graduates and PhDs having an interest in disciplines such
as medicine, nursery, economics, management, sociology, psychology,
anthropology.
Ageing
processes and its related economic, health and social issues are becoming
burning challenges for our society.
The
VIU summer school on "Gender Issues in an Ageing Society" will provide
the students with a thorough understanding of it through multidisciplinary
approaches and training on the micro data-sets.
The
2018 edition, run with a COST programme -
European Cooperation in Science and Technology, will focus on Ageing &
Gender.
Scholarships will
be available to cover part of the tuition fee.
Dates:
June 4-8, 2018 with possibility of an additional COST training on June 9
Location:
San Servolo island, Venice, Italy
